In memory of Kamal Prabhakar’s son, Amit, the academy builds on Kamal’s longstanding commitment to helping children and young adults through cricket, personal guidance and mentorship.

That continuing work is now taking a more visible, structured form—bringing together relationships and resources to support young people’s confidence, wellbeing and opportunities.

• Mentorship: continuing personal guidance and encouragement for children and young adults.
• Sponsorship: developing annual opportunities for supporters to help young talent.
• Mental wellbeing: building access to appropriate specialist support alongside mentorship.
